This CD contains the first six piobaireachds selected from a growing collection of new recordings. Each recording is accompanied by a manuscript PDF file and an additional Bagpipe Music Writer file with canntaireachd, providing a valuable teaching and learning resource. Unusually, the manuscript notation does not use time signatures but presents a format where the relative note values are used to convey the interpretation and style of performance.
